Riley is out of top-winning Sable and White Cocker Spaniels. He is one of the only Sable and White Cockers to come out of a breeding from 2 Sable and White Canadian champions. Riley is line- bred on Ch. BeGay's Rumor N' Sebastian out of Multi- BIS Can. Ch. BeGay's Color Me Badd, who is a son of the legendary Am. Ch. BeGay's It Is Miss Elizabeth, Award of Merit Winner at the ASC Summer National in Atlanta in 1990. Riley produces beautiful headpieces with a lot of lip, short backs, and easy to care for coat. Riley’s headpiece looks more like the head of a black Cocker Spaniel than that of a parti Cocker Spaniel. It is hard to find a parti Cocker Spaniel today that has a headpiece as nice as Riley’s. Along with the correct conformation, what else could you ask for? We are hoping to finish some of Riley’s get in the AKC ring, in the next couple of years, if we can find a parti bitch that is nice enough to breed to him. Riley has a lot to offer the show parti Cocker Spaniels of today, since most of them are slab- sided, and narrow through the face. We feel that this problem in the parti Cocker Spaniels is from breeders breeding to popular stud dogs, instead of breeding for the correct conformation, due to certain breeders lack of knowledge.
