Tami
Tim started grooming in 1996 and also became a certified veterinarian assistant in 1996. He has shown and competed with numerous breeds of dogs, including Cocker Spaniels, Australian Shepherds, Afghan Hounds, and now starting with Poodles. He opened Canine Design, in 2002. He has been certified as a dog obedience instructor by Animal Behavior and Training Associates since 2002, and in 2005 became certified by the American Kennel Club as a Canine Good Citizen Evaluator. Tim has also given several grooming seminars on how to properly groom your pet, and in 2002 was invited to teach show groomers in Japan how to properly groom an American Cocker Spaniel.
Tami began a 2 year grooming aprenticeship in 2002, where she was trained under top show groomers in Illinois. She was trained under Master Groomer Tim Bowling how to hand strip terriers, and how to correctly groom Cocker Spaniels. She has learned many scissoring techniques, and has recently taken classes on speed grooming, and specializes in geriatric pets. She owns 2 dalmations, and an Affenpinscher imported from Germany.
Jimmy started grooming dogs in 2004, and has previously worked in several Equestrian show farms grooming and preparing horses for top competition. Jimmy's scissoring and grooming skills are some of the best in our area, and is now showing off his talent in competition and has finished 2 Australian Shepherds to date.
