Marcus is short backed, extreme angulated rear, loads of front, and a perfect tailset. Marcus goes back to Ch. HiTops Flashdancer, and Ch. Laurent's By Love Possessed who was also awarded most versatile Cocker, an award that very few Cockers hold. Marcus is not only bred on beauty, but also brains. Marcus has very straight coat, and not only is it straight, his coat is extremely thick, not like many of the cottony-coated ASCOBS that you see in the ring today. Marcus's sire is a deep red. We are planning to cross Marcus to our two beautiful mahogany, Irish Setter Red, Cocker girls, Robin and Reba, who were given to us by our dear friend, Robin Otten. I am very excited about showing Marcus's progeny. The icing to the cake is that with these crosses the red gene will be locked in for future generations. It is a shame that the red Cocker Spaniels are so rare today. Thank You Robin for these Cockers. With these magnificent dogs we hope to have many wonderful generations to come.
