Ch. Lacie's Amazing John John
John is out of some of the top-winning black Cocker Spaniels in the U.S. His sire Ch. Cin-Dee’s Laurent’s Grand Slam was 12 yrs. Old when he sired John. His dam, Ch. Lacie’s Little Dynamite is the half sister to one of the top-winning black Cocker Spaniels of all time, Ch. Lacie’s Basic Black. When looking at John’s pedigree, you will find one of the best read pedigrees you will ever look at. We are crossing him to our black bitch, Roustabout Pride By Design, who comes from a bitch line that I have been breeding for 4 generations, and this cross will be our 5th. We are extremely excited on what this cross will produce. I bred Wib’s Pride N Joy several years ago to Ch. Cin-Dee’s Laurent’s Grand Slam which produced a bitch that I sold to a breeder in Japan, and went on to become a BIS winning Japanese Champion.
I sold a male out of this cross to Classy Country Cockers, which later became her top-producing sire, Pride N CC’s Life O Riley, with the agreement that I would have a breeding back to him. Unfortunately, due to circumstances out of my control, I was never able to breed to Riley. This is one reason why I was very happy to be able to get John, a paternal half brother to a litter that I bred several years ago. I look forward to showing and campaigning John’s progeny, since I know that if he produces what he is, then his progeny will be great winners.
